I began babysitting an autistic toddler and learning about the strategies his speech therapist and preschool teacher used to support his language development. Seeing firsthand how thoughtful communication support can make a real difference was eye-opening and inspiring.

I studied psychology at Towson University (MD), originally planning to become a neuropsychologist. During this time, I worked as an EMT and emergency department scribe, where I witnessed firsthand the lack of training on supporting neurodivergent individuals.

I moved to Texas during COVID and pursued my Master’s in Special Education at Texas Tech University while gaining four years of invaluable experience with a leading organization. During this time, I discovered my passion for supporting others through functional communication and emotion regulation.

I loved supporting autistic children, teens, and adults, but saw many parents feeling isolated and many teens and adults left without support. I decided to start my own company to help fill that gap while pursuing my PhD in Behavior Analysis from Capella University.
